Currently reading (and recommending!) "Imaginable" by Dr. Jane McGonigal. The exercises she outlines in the book for cultivating a greater sense of agency and control in how we look at life (both our own, and the wider world around us all) is both practical and empowering. In a sea of shallow self help style advice, I've found these techniques quite personally transformative, and actually.....alot of fun to look forward to as well.
